20% off Carnaby Shopping!
Hello beautiful Londoners! Not sure if anyone knows this yet but on the 31st of May 2012, there's a sale going on at not only 1 or two stores but OVER 100 STORES in London! Aqua Women, Dahlia, Monki, American Apparel and of course MORE! Not just fashion labels but also bars, restaurants, YOU NAME IT! :D It's such a great event and I'm honoured that I'm going to be participating in it! It's going to be so much fun I swear! Probably going to head off early so that I won't jam in with the crowd. Sounds promising right?! :D
Btw, I am not sponsored by them but just wanted to spread the news around! Here's the website and they'll instruct you how to get your ticket! *click*
I'm going to mentally prepare myself for this event lol. Though I doubt I'll be able to buy alot but hey! I prolly might get something! :D Though well, on second thought, I might reconsider it (thinking about the horrible jam packed sessions that's bound to happen) Heh. Yeah.
But I do wanna get some really pretty shoes from Monki that I have been eying on :D

Yogurt obsession
Have you ever had this weird tingling obsession inside you? Whether it's food, clothes, shoes or anything? Mine is definitely food and this time, it's yogurt. I'm not always a fan of yogurt but yesterday, I had yogurt for breakfast and was immediately hooked on it. I combined the yogurt with some nice strawberry granola with slices of banana and it tasted so good. For the yogurt base, I used greek yogurt with honey. Such a killer combo that I had it again for breakfast today!
Such a bliss :)
Moving on, previously I mentioned on my haul post that I might be returning some items? I finally made the decision to return the items. Thanks to my boyfriend really for helping me decide because if it wasn't for him, I doubt I'll be able to make any sort of decisions! I have to start making coherent decisions from now on :/ So yeah, I returned my crochet shorts and the mint green tank top. If you don't get what I mean, you can click here to view the haul.
The reason? Well the shorts were a nice touch but the fact that I bought them a size a tad bigger, it became quite a problem. I really liked it so much, I bought them a bigger size without much hesitation. Only to realise well, it didn't look good at all. I am quite happy though that I didn't take out the price tags cause I knew I might be returning it some day. I was just hoping to let it grow on me but unfortunately hmm, it didn't do. Usually, if I like a piece, I would immediately just rip the price tags out like an animal. For some reason, I didn't do it with this piece.
The tank top on the other hand needless to say was a bit too crop for me. I mean, it was very tiny. I bought a size a lil smaller but it sorta fit me well. But alas, I didn't feel quite right with it therefore, I returned it. Felt good though. At least I can save up for more clothes and OMG DESIGN BOOKS :D
Anyhoos! I'm working on this special project with my sister and it will revealed in a few month's time. It's a lot work but I'll definitely update you guys with more info! :D
ta! xx
My personal favourites
Well I've uploaded all my photographs for the photoshoot and the shoot was a success. I'm just going to show you my personal favourites from the shoot:
I love taking photographs of people! Photoshoots especially. There's so many things I learn from each shoot and I use them to improve myself better. I sound so sappy. Heh. But anyways, I am truly quite happy with the outcome of the shoot. Reminds me of my first ever photoshoot. It was very back in 2008, my first ever model was Dina, my awesome twin. And now, I'm in London, taking pictures of my beautiful friends. Who would have known huh?
Photography makes me happy. I know recently I haven't been dedicating my time to it but I assure you, I will. There's so much to love in this city. And I want explore it as much as I can.

Hot weather!
I swear London's really hot at the moment and to make it worst, the air conditioning in my room is busted. So I'm basically sweating at the moment. On a happier note, I'm already uploading the first batch photos of my latest shoot! Well I honestly do not care about response because the photos turned out pretty amazing. So happy that I'm able to share the magical places I've been with my lovely friend. Dulwich park is amazing! If you guys ever get to go, please JUST GO. It's so beautiful over there. It's how every park should preserved and used. It's amazing! Anyways, aside from that, I'm happy to say that I've been working out ever since I submitted my final project.
I feel a lot healthier now, resorting to healthier options for food. I just feel like it's a good turning point for me though I am still quite exasperated from the final major project phase. Now that's over, I am able to do what I want. I've been staying at home for the past few days not because I'm anti-social no, but I want to spend some quality time with myself you know? Reading a good book, eating yogurt on a hot sunny day, exercising and watching old classics.
Oh oh! I went window shopping earlier in the afternoon and the first and last place I went to was Zara. And the first two pieces that are now currently in my very obsession:

Gorgeous pants! I've always wanted trousers like these but I can never find one that fits me perfectly. So this! Gorgeous colour, fits fine. I'm sold! I didn't buy it of course but it's affordable really so I MIGHT be getting it :D
Oh man this shirt. This freaking shirt is my kind of style! I love love love this shirt so much I spent 30 minutes just twirling around in the changing room with it. Because I love IT SO MUCH. And it's so versatile as well! Pair it up with a skirt and you get this preppy girly look. Pair it up with some nice slick trousers and you get this mature stylish look! Style it with some ripped jeans/ or shorts and you'll get this classic rocker style feel to it!
You can't see it clearly but the buttons are golden skulls! CUTE MINI SKULLS! I'm sold D: It's a little pricey but..I don't know, I just really want them. Zara's collection is amazing this season! I love it so much I wish I could die in there with all their clothes spread out! But yes, haha. I'm still considering. Damn it. There were these really cute shorts as well. White shorts with some studs baby!
Sigh! I love!
Well I'm not gonna spend anytime soon since well I want to indulge myself with sleep (as well as finishing up the poster) So, well nap time! :D xx

Beautiful day!
Today is getting off at a great start! I spent my day eating some good breakfast and just finished snacking on my yogurt and some nice cold frappuccino to wash it down. It's been really hot! I mean, it's immense! But I am so excited for this week. I can't wait to go trampolini with the girls! :D I just feel like this holiday feeling is unfolding. I still can't entirely let go of work so I'm currently working on my poster for the exhibition. I knowww! I'm such a lame workaholic but I really can't slack during my break and besides I have another project coming up which I won't reveal till I get extremely good details on it. So in the mean time, please do anticipate!
I actually don't know why I'm blogging even though well I don't think people do read :/ But I really enjoy it. I just feel like letting some things out you know? Like my very own personal space and that's how blogging started with me. It was always about having my own personal space, and sharing my passion and experiences with the world.
I might want to change my blog layout. It's been almost a year! Will do that in a minute :) And oh! I am still in the middle of editing my latest shoot (I am so slow) but here's a teaser :)
I will be posting the pictures hopefully by tonight or tomorrow morning! For now, I want to work on my poster for the exhibition! Lotsa work to do! Tata! xx
edit: On a very random note, I am so obsessed with Monki right now! Their prices are relatively reasonable and I can't help but look at their clothes and sulk. I really, really want to shop them so badly! But I've already shopped for this month so I am patiently waiting for next month. I prolly be shopping for my Europe trip so, :D In the mean time, I'm going to learn how paypal works.
Sunday pigging out!
I just got back from London's most sweltering weather of the year. It's ridiculously hot but the breeze really did make up for it or else I would have died of heat stroke (touchwood) but seriously, the heat was very bearable really cause I've had worst but it's been a while since I'm under this immense heat so it will take a while to get used to it.
Daisy and I decided that we did our little mini photoshoot of the day! But first! We wanted to pig out under the sun haha so picnic it is! I made some sandwiches (which I didn't get to eat them in the end) and some nice fruits for the hot weather! It was such a good change for the indoor canteen food and it really has been almost what, 3 months since I last had a picnic. The last time I had was like ages ago! Okay, maybe just a few months back but hey, it's been ages! Here are some picnic pictures (which well I was not included muahah) The location by the way was at Dulwich Park :D
Here are some pictures :D let the pictures do the talking! (with captions)
Smelly feet :)
Olives *win*
Nachos *doublewin*
This ^ *triple win*
Mini daisy! :D
The weather was really good today that I had to take pictures of the surroundings as well. Apparently there was this fair going on but well I wasn't interested in it really. Along the way, people were sunbathing! So I sneak up to them and capture the moment ;) lol well I didn't sneak up, I just took pictures either way haha!
The carnival! And naked people sunbathing HAHA. (jokes)
Ms Daisy working it :D
The flowers were soo DAMN PRETTY! :D
Last picture :) I really like this picture for some strange reason teehee.
Anyways, I am done blogging. I will edit my photoshoot pictures after my workout session. Yes, one of the promises I made to myself! Working out after my project. Can't slack off!
Bam! xx

My current haul
This week I went shopping after my FMP. The feeling was great though at first, I wasn't very keen on it (since I was so exhausted for some strange reason) Nevertheless, I still did anyways and got a few things for myself. Mostly clothes actually. I love the accessories this season but I think that will have to wait till next month perhaps? Right now, I wanna spend my time just lazing around and do absolutely nothing. Nevertheless, here are some pictures of my haul!
I bought this gorgeous sleeveless crochet top from Topshop. At first I wasn't sure about it cause it felt a little weird but after I put it on, I was sold. And the little cute ribbon infront?! Sigh! :D I really do like this top though I don't find it my sort of style, but then again, I quite like it.
A close up of the details. Love it!
Up next from Topshop is this really cute crochet shorts! I was contemplating about this short at first and I still am. I am thinking about returning this piece. I just feel something is off about it but however, I might still keep it. Might! Not sure yet. It will probably grow on me.
I bought this lovely green crop top and am very much in love with it! It's been really hot in the summer right now and definitely this top would come in handy!
Alright, I am excited to introduce you to this shop. It's called Monki and I found it with my friends along at Carnaby street. You can check their website: here. I quite like their clothes and it's relatively quite reasonable. They have some really pretty clothes! This shorts was one of them. It's a lil big for me but I love it nonetheless. I am digging this colour at the moment.
When I first saw this sheer floral top, I knew I had to get it. I have been looking for a nice floral sheer top for quite some time now and finally I found it! The price was really good as well so I had to get it overall. It matches really well with the shorts.
Lastly, I got this white sheer top. I really like it despite it's simplicity. I have this thing for white clothes.
There was another store that I was eyeing on and it was called Dahlia. Dahlia's clothes are just simply gorgeous. However, they're really expensive. It's crazy. 60 pounds for everything! I could literally just die in there. But I can't help it because it's so darn pretty! Topshop was selling a part of the collection and I was sooo tempted to get this gorgeous crochet crop top with an open back! But I didn't :( It was 38 pounds for that top and it was expensive for one top.
If you guys are interested: *click*
One thing I love about their website is they give you tips about each and every product about how to style it and wear it which I find it really useful! :D
Their style is just so pretty and cute! But all that comes with such a high price. Anyways! I am hoping to scope around for more of these cute little boutique shops! If anyone knows any in London, please do tell! I'm interested to know your views :D
Post FMP.
So sorry for neglecting this blog. It's been so long since I actually last did a very proper coherent post about my life. But as you all know, for the past 3 months I was working on my final major project. It was very crucial for me to do well for this project as the brief and the proposal as well as the ideas were set by me. Of course, I am able to do something that I love without having to follow any sort of rules (aside from the graphic design rules wise) But, this project gave me a wonderful time. Though there were some setbacks along the way but I was very ecstatic that I pulled it through. I have to thank my friends, my family and my boyfriend for giving me this strength to make it through. If it wasn't for them, I would never be able to succeed at all.
This project taught me many things. It taught me determination, to never give up and most of all to always embrace and be open to new things. From this, I have learnt a lot about myself, about my capabilities and my weaknesses. All that's left is the exhibition poster but that could wait. For now, I want to unwind and relax. Has it really been this long since I felt really free? I think so too.
For now, I will finally reveal my pictures of my final major project. Do enjoy :)

Of course after the FMP submission, my girlfriends and I went out to celebrate. We did a little shopping along the way as well which I will talk about it in my later post. Overall, I am excited with my events this coming week! Today is Saturday so I definitely am resting in. Not very keen on going out very soon but well tomorrow will be a special day for me so I am very excited! :D
Till then xx.
