Was feeling a little insecure.

So yeah

It's the final week of this project and everything needs to be done. So far, I've done most of the stuffs. Mock ups, prototypes, and finalised the ideas and layouts. It's been a tough 4 weeks trial. Seriously. And the fact I have to work on my proposal as well. Darn it. Oh well umm, here's to my projects!

I must say, I am working well these few days. Tomorrow all I do need to do is:

1) Come in early to screen print.
2) Show progress to my lecturer.
3) Retouch and edit final pieces.
4) Test prints.
5) Screen print in the afternoon again.

And when I get back home, I need to:

6) Mount the letterheads and everything.
7) Work on packagings.
8) Update journal.
9) And work on proposal.

Lotsa things to do but well, I always have a plan :)

My collection of stuffs that I've been doing over the 3 weeks. The two boxes were done yesterday after much heap of measuring the packaging and stuff. But I'm glad I managed to do them. Today, going out on a serious material shopping for these babies before they get into screen printing tomorrow. Gosh. All the money spent on these things :( PAPER. 

I am in need of cash.

Working on my ID! :D At first yes, it was really hard for me to established my identity but with the help from my friends and tutors, I did it! This is of course not the final product but I have the whole of tonight and the weekends (including Monday) to finish up my complete set! :) I really am quite excited! I have like a gift box (souvenir to do) and a spice box! Quite excited, let's just hope I'll be able to finish them up in time! I have the weekends and Monday to do this. I have to of course plan my time thoroughly now!

Aside from that, I have a great feeling about this project. Well so far, been doing some good progress. I need to print it out in a nice set of papers which I'll be getting tomorrow and start printing! :D I need more stuffs too like glue, scalpel...yeah ALL THAT. It's so frustrating. I definitely need to stock up tomorrow! Alright time to do some more work! Work awaits me :( Tata!

What a day

I am so tired that I could really use some good sleep but I still have some stuffs left to do (AND CSI TO WATCH) Aside from that, I say I made some good progress today! I made use of screen printing and it was obviously a fail but at least I know whatever I am doing works like a bunch! :D So happy!

Either way, though my direction is clear now, I still need to work on foldings, my packaging, my souvenirs and such. All these needs to be presented by at least setting my date for Tuesday. It's go time during weekends and tomorrow. Sigh, I promise I will do a lookbook shoot tomorrow! If that's the last thing I'll do!

I finally watched CSI and it almost brought me to tears (but I didn't cry note on that)

Catherine's last and final episode. Can you imagine? 2001-2012! That's like 11 years of being with CSI crew (of course in Catherine's case, 19 years) And it's been amazing. Though the very last 3 seasons with Langston did very little justice to the show but Catherine as always was amazing. She was different from Grissom definitely and when he left, it broke my heart instantly. But well that heart soothed well when Russell came in and perhaps, all CSI needed was a little change of authority. 

With Catherine leaving, it's a big hit on CSI. But I'm sure the show will continue to grow at its best. Here's to 12 seasons for CSI! :D

Thank you Catherine for the amazing 12 seasons :) Hope you'll make a comeback again! :D

Late night ramblings

I finally finished cleaning my room again. I have this tendency now to stick everything in its place so that I won't have to bother remembering where I put my things. It's getting tiring and now it's already 2.05 am. I'm getting tired but there's just little things I need to do before I sleep like sketching, planning what to do tomorrow, and all that. I'm quite worried cause it's already second week but I know I'll be fine considering I've done some work and the fact is that if it gets approved, I'll be able to work on it.

Today wasn't really my day. To be honest, I have to learn how to tolerate with such situations and be responsible for my actions. Knowing that my sister won't be here forever, I'll be left with so many choices and questions unanswered. Today really taught me a lesson about it.

I am happy within two days, I purchased items on my own but that was an excuse for CNY. So yeah, I'll elaborate more on that in the next post. Not so happy that I am bombed with other pressing matters. Overall, I think I gained weight by eating lotsa dimsum and mushrooms today.

I don't even know whether I should continue lookbooking cause no one seems to hype my stuff. Hahah, oh well, it'll get by eventually. Just wanna show you my make up today :)

I'm improving :D Okies, gotta go finish up some small work and then choose outfit for tomorrow (cause I know I'm gonna end up being late)

I am so in love with my skirt :) It was on sale! And the shoes, haha funny story. I woke up to find I had absolutely nothing to match with. So I went out on an emergency and bought these babies :) Half price! Was supposed to go to Miss Selfridge actually cause I saw some really lovely nude pumps but I decided to settle for this one and no regrets!

Urk. Un mama.

Sorry I haven't been blogging. Been busy, and today just got back from an awesome party with friends. Happy birthday Ashley! She's already old and well still rocking the moves. Anyways yeah, just wanna blog a bit about how's it going for me at the moment and stuff. So on Thursday was the presentation day and I must say it wasn't my very best. I mean really.

I could have done better and I really should have followed a list or something but however I didn't and I didn't manage to get everything covered. For that moment, I felt like I defeated my whole purpose of doing research. Like it was too much? Too wide ranged and such? I actually broke down in the middle night thinking, is it because I was trying too hard to achieve something that it became the reason that the focus was lost? It was true though but however I knew I could do this and for the first time in my life, I mean I don't know what driven me to push it even further, I knew that I couldn't give up. My parents spent a lump sum of money not to just see me fail at doing something that I love but at least achieve something out of it. It was then I sort of promised myself that I was going to do this, straighten things out and understand myself. And it all came alright.

Not only I got the limelight from Chris but I know what I am doing now. Looking for typefaces and textures and stuff. I guess it takes a little bit of faith in yourself and that I gotta be clear of what I'm trying to do. Will be a good day!

Happy day

First day back at college was pretty exciting. I can't wait to do this Corporate ID project cause there's so much to talk about! But yes, our final major project proposal deadline is coming in soon and I haven't thought about a single idea! I have to brainstorm tonight. I am going to get fucked if I don't. Aside from that, we had a field trip today to the museum of branding and IT'S BRILLIANT. It was Robert Copie's collection of branded goods he collected for the past years and HE IS INSANELY MAD.

From the victorian packaging (which were oh so pretty.) and a whole lot of other stuffs. Definitely worth a look :)

Work work work ;_; and oh family!

Started working on my fourth sketchbook. I mean seriously? My portfolio is going to bloat and die :(

3 sort of completed sketchbook and currently working on the fourth one. Heheh.

Hmm, my blog is so boring some times :( I need to revamp it. Make it more I don't know alive?

Err okay. I'll update some very OLD events from last year. So last year, my relatives were getting married and yes! Family time! And of course, my dad's side reunited and all of us were FINALLY TOGETHER as a family :)

Can you feel the feminine power going on in there! I did warn alot of you that my family is pron to having women overpopulation and there you have it :D

I mean it's hard to get all of us to reunite and sadly enough, I won't be able to spend CNY with my family :( I mean it's the most prestigious and amazing part of reunion and I won't be there. I guess you might not know it feels. When you were young, we were always happy together as a family. Eating together, laughing, talking and getting ang paus. I guess it's that amazing and genuine feeling of a reunion. If there was any way I could trade anything for those times.

This feeling is quite unbearable.

Coming back to London has always been great but well, this time was different. Maybe it's just the cold weather whatsoever that's bringing me back a lot memories but then again, it could be just me trying to fit in into the cold. Not very fond of all this nonsense so I'm just going keep it simple and short. I just miss everyone. Sorry to those I didn't have enough time to well look for you guys or hung out. It's honestly been a headache for me.

To sum up my last 2011, it was great. During my winter break, I was able to

1) Spend time with my famili :)

And well eat :) Mostly.

I've been spending my day running around London, finding for stuffs only to realise I left out quite a lot. Haih, silly me *knocks head* need to bring my list next time. But aside from that, London seems a whole lot bigger. Maybe it's just me but it's such a scary place to live in as joyous as it sounds. It's overwhelming. I haven't devoted my time entirely to reading. I miss reading as in novels, fanfictions, so much more and it scares me that I can't write anymore.

You heard me.

I can't write stories anymore.

Sounds like a dangerous tangled thread to be stuck in huh? But it's true. I used to write marvelous (not lying or being boastful) stories, ideas were wild and such and I felt so free writing them. But now?

I can't even write a simple short story without erasing everything or hitting the deleting button multiple times. And I still wonder what happened to me?

Was it because of the lack of reading? Lack of motivation or that I was afraid to write.

Afraid to express.

That scares me. 

I really love writing so so much. But it's so bleak now.

I am no longer that good after all.

Food love

My first meal of 2012 in London! I just needed to unwind from all this sticking and food, restaurants and such so I decided to well cook today rather than going out. Was rummaging through the fridge and I found some chinese lettuce, mushrooms, and a  jar of jalepeno peppers. What better than to make my own umm lettuce wrap with mushroom jalepeno fillings?!

Then again, despite the looks, I say it was pretty darn good!! :D

As for the recipe, I tell you I have no idea what I added. Okay I was just kidding. Of course I do. You need four cloves of garlic, 6 mushrooms and jalepeno peppers. For sauces I used a bit of soy sauce, oyster sauce and dark pepper sauce to top it up.

For herbs, I used thyme and WALA!
