Tiring day

Today was pretty much productive. Went to the salon to get my hair done. I redyed and trimmed it. Well, the colour is darker now but I'm kind of upset because they mixed up the colours. I wanted a dark redish purple colour and my sister wanted a darker brown. And they switched it D:

So I have the darker burgundy and and my sister has my colour. Well I don't mind. I'm kind of alright with it. I can't wait for tomorrow! Baby coming over and I'm bringing him to a special which I won't reveal because he reads this blog :)

Aside from that, nothing interesting happening in life.

Useless post really. I need to rant a little. I find this quote rather, true.

Every relationship has its problems. But what makes it perfect is when you still want to be there when everything sucks.

So what did we do?

It was our seventh month together :) I mean the boyfriend and I. So since we couldn't go to Penang (I know I did mention I was going but I didn't) we thought of what we could do and the first thing that came to my mind was, cook. Cooking together. Shouldn't be so bad right? Hahaha, well one thing's for sure, the food was edible :D

We went shopping for ingredients and in the end, we had pretty good ingredients. So went home and off to make our dinner. Honestly, my maid still helped us cause we weren't sure with our ingredients and all but in the end, it turned out well.

For our dishes, we added a special ingredient teehee.

Okay the story behind this. The omelette was going so well and suddenly, this unicorn crash our kitchen, and farted rainbows on the omelette causing it to burn and then scrambling the omelette. 

I kid. The omelette sort of didn't work out cause he put too much eggs so we made it scrambled :)

No beauty is too constrained.

I was looking through my photo albums and this image struck to me.

The composition can be better but what I love about the picture it's the purity of it. What I love about models is not so much of the posing but what they can portray through each click. I can only do much but the rest is up to the person. I find this person amazing. She's a simple girl with no make up. Cute without even realizing it and she cooperates so well with me, it was absolutely fun working with her. 

What amazes me is her change after she took of her glasses.

Haih. I wish I wasn't that insecure with everything I have :( Maybe I'm just surrounded with really pretty friends it makes me feel kind of sad. Oh well, it's just a food for thought :) I feel like doing a portrait shoot. For myself haha. Camwhore time :D Once I get my hair done :D Yeap, I'm gonna trim my hair and coloured it. It's about time actually.

Food galore

So, hi. I just got back from dinner and I HAD TO SHARE :) Dinner was good. Aside from the fact I couldn't eat HALF THE STUFF on the table, it was good. Appreciate while you can before you leave :'( I left for dinner with the family around 6.30 and we dined at Fatty Crab. Teehee. Crabs are good over there and the place is always crowded with people. ALWAYS. Weekends, weekdays, always. That's how good it is. So before the meal commenced, I brought out my camera and took a few shots :)

Hair!

It's official, I need a trim and a redye :( My hair is turning so ugly now and it's all out of shape. JUST LOOK.

Wouldn't you just agreee?! Grr, I remember I had extremely short hair before. Wait, picture as a proof!

Hehehe, like it? It was edgy looking don't cha think? But oh wells, now it's all ugly and just so revolting to look at. Goal for next week after returning from Penang, trim and redye.

Gotta get ready for dinner in a few minutes time. FAMILY TIME <3

Useless boring post.

HIIII. ahem.

So yeah. Boring post again. Yesterday night my mood was really shitty. Earlier in the afternoon, I had lunch with Amanda, Jules and Nadine. Penguin bought her shorts and shirt from MNG. Jules and I picked out a restaurant and ended up choosing Oviet, a vietnamese cuisine. The food was so so, not too bad. But the waiter is really impressive. He was able to remember every single number and item in the menu with ease! We tested a few times and we approve!

After that I got home and fell asleep again like what AFTER FOOD? I'm turning into a pig. Boyfriend called and we skyped for a while. He asked whether I wanna go out for a drink or something. My house was infested with noise so why not?

We drove around and we stopped by SS2 Mcd's cause I was hungry. I ate fries and fillet. Omg, fattisms! Well this was because I didn't eat dinner so supper it is!

Drove around Subang and places and almost had a near death experience when that bloody Myvi just had to cut my boyfriend's lane which thankfully he had to emergency break and gave a bloody horn at the stupid Myvi. Of course there was a consequence to that later on.

I called Jules and Mel and we met up Sayang where we had TEH TARIK AND COCONUTS :) Not the best but what do you expect? After a while, we went home. On the way, my boyfriend felt something wasn't right with the car. I felt it too but my worse expectations came through. We were almost home when suddenly the car started to shake violently. Immediately my boyfriend said, "Flat tyre!"

We stopped near the pavement and went to check. He was right except he wasn't really flat. More like burst tyre. It was steaming hot and then we didn't really know the cause of it. We attempted to fix it at the spot but we had problems with the jack. I told him we should drop by Petronas since it was so near. We almost did until two patrol police came down and asked us the problem. In the end, they fixed everything for us. Thank God actually, they were kind enough to help or else :(

Got home safely and ended the night with another call from my man :)

So today! Woke up late again and received two calls from Sam and Wei Lyn regarding the silkscreen stuffs again. I drove to college to collect it and met up with Zee, Wei Li and her classmates. We went to Jusco to eat. I had udon mee which I totally did not like it at all. I didn't bother finishing it cause it was just so bad.

Hung out with Deborah and left for home cause that poor girl didn't sleep for some nights already. Hope she gets better soon. I got home and ate like..bread, cereal, cake and chips. Like wow, what kind of dinner! No food at home :( so had to make do with whatever I have.

Nyehe.

Experimentations: Motion and Impulse

Okay I was bored, really bored and acted on impulse and took over 303 shots of the same thing. The results were pretty interesting though I must say I'm such a noob at it. If there's any pro photographers out there, mind helping me out? I think for a first try, it was pretty bad :(

I don't know why I was so diligent! I took the effort and time to set up the lighting, tripod, background which is pretty unlikely of me. 

So my first test was like this.

The first try was kind of a fail shot because I realised my cousin's shadow was in the way therefore, it didn't look nice. Funny thing is, my cousin was already about to sleep but I didn't let her until I get the right shot and this came out kind of..alright.

And my second try with gum balls.

I used my 50 mm lens for this. The first one I used my 200mm lens which wasn't a good idea cause it was heavy and I learnt from that mistake. And I acted on impulse again and started taking another 200+ shots until I got this one.

Flying gumball! Cool or what? And again, I took another few more shots.

I decided not to edit the rest not because I'm lazy but I think it looks better without it being edited.

That's about it :) Heheh, gonna go and...watch some more videos :D

What a boring day

I slept in again. Nowadays there's nothing interesting for me to blog anymore. It's just kindda sad. Omg, I actually feel tears coming out. But yesterday, I discovered some pretty good games (no thanks to Youtube, I waste half of my life surfing through youtube.) I should be out there taking pictures of myself (self loving moments) but my dearest memory card is with Amanda so I'm stuck with a camera without a memory.

Sooooo, yeah games! My favourite game, Tomb Raider has definitely raised the bar ten times! A new game is out and is it me or game trends are now moving towards a direction where they bring the old into the new. What I mean is, they're focusing on the main character's past more often. Other examples like Silent Hill, Resident Evil and so on so forth. Too bad her game's coming out in 2012 but the trailer is epic. If you guys played her games before and think the graphics sucked monkey balls, well take a look at this.



Another game which I thought it was pretty interesting is this;



Regconise the creator? Atlus? It's the same company that produced Persona 4 so obviously you would know this game is going to be rather a little erotic. It's quite semiotic as well cause I like the concept of the game and the graphics or sort of different but similar to Persona 4. Yes, it's called Catherine and yes the game involves you moving boxes which you have to think out strategically before you plummet down to your death. Watch the trailer if you want :)

I feel like doing a lookbook shoot. I have the time for it no worries, I just need to know when to do it. Now that I have the free time, why not right?

I visited my aunt's house today and boy she fed us a lot of food which I like :) Organic root beer? Now how about that! It'll be my favourite drink for the time being. The little one is so cute now. She talks a lot as well and...screams :/

I'm so lifeless now!

I shall go watch more videos. :D

And I have vegetarian bak kut teh for dinner. I know what are you gonna say, EEW. But who cares, I like :D

Ice ice baby~

Something funny came through my mind. Haha yesterday, boyfie came over to do his perspectives and halfway through, I decided to have fun. I was eating apples with him and we're on my bed (please don't think otherwise, we were sitting down.) I was all wrapped up with my blanket and out of the blue, he tickled me >(

And of course my first instant reaction was to scream and I did. I ended up laughing and he did too. I could barely catch my breath and stomach was cramping very fast. I balled up at the corner of my bad and started laughing. Funny thing is, I don't know what happened and suddenly, while I was laughing....

jeng!

I farted :P

And his reaction was like, "Ewwww, you fart!" 

I gave a bigger reaction of course, I continued the laughing spree. Out of the blue, we attacked each other with deodorants and pillows. He build his own 'fortress' with my one and only pillow hahah and blanket. I build my fortress too alright! Using the closet doors :D We started spraying at each other, and he used my pillow to protect himself from it. I didn't know what got into us (or was it me :P) but I had so much of fun, it wasn't even funny. Fun was one part, and I realised, I'm really going to miss him when I leave UK.

:(

I love him and he's one of the reasons why I'm so reluctant to go. I wish I could bring him, but that would be very selfish of me would it? I miss him so :(

Aside from that, I send my sister to Sunway this morning cause she wanted to go ice skating with her friends. In the meantime, I watched a movie :D 

I wouldn't say it was brilliant but I thought it was really cute! The movie was overall really cute I must say. It was an okay movie if you asked me but of course, I love love love the penguinssss! Aren't they just ADORABLE? Jim Carrey has always been a great and funny actor and he definitely is! I wouldn't say much about the plot but overall, the movie was a decent watch. I shall end the post with a cute picture from the movie.
